On Wednesday morning, March 20, 2019, the President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, received HE Mr. Eltayeb Abuelgassim Fadul Abuelgassim, ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan in a solemn audience.
The diplomat presented the Letter of Credence that accredit him as Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan in the Republic of Cuba and, at the conclusion of the ceremony, the head of mission laid a wreath at the Monument to José Martí, in the Plaza de la Revolución.

The Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt, Tania Aguiar Fernández, held an audience with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Egypt, Dr. Ali Abdel-Aal.
In the meeting with the Cuban Ambassador, Dr. Abdel-Aal referred to the long and continuous history of friendship and mutual respect between the two countries. He also expressed that Egypt should take advantage of Cuba's experience in various fields, especially in the field of medicine, which is a priority for the Egyptian political leadership within the framework of its general vision for the development of the country.
