Services in Barbados of the Cuban Medical Brigade ¨Henry Reeve¨ to help face the COVID-19 pandemic will be extended for six more months, until October 2021.

After one year of work for most of the team, the members of the Cuban Henry Reeve Medical Brigade in Barbados, at the request of the Barbadian authorities, will extend their stay in this sister Caribbean island for six more months until the beginning of October.

Conversations took place with the Barbadian Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the Honorable Dr. Jerome X. Walcott, JP, as well as with the Minister of Health and Wellness, the Honorable Lt. Col. Jeffrey Bostic MP.
