President and Prime Minister of Cuba congratulate their Fijian counterparts on the 50th anniversary of independence
Suva, October 10, 2020. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent a congratulatory message to his counterpart from the Republic of Fiji, Major General (Retired) Jioji Konusi Konrote, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the independence of that Pacific Island State.
The Cuban Head of State ratified "the will to expand the ties of friendship and cooperation between both countries".
