Ambassador of Cuba to the U.S.A: “They will not be able to destroy our symbols”

(Prensa Latina)  The attack against the Embassy of Cuba in the United States on April 30, shocked people in the two countries and abroad who immediately condemn the event and expressed their solidarity with the Island.

Since an individual opened fire early morning against the building of the Cuban Embassy in Washington D.C., versions of what happened and the motives of the assailant started to circulate in the social media and some American press media.

Good afternoon:

As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs timely informed, around 2 o’clock today, that is, in the early hours in the morning of today, Thursday, April 30, 2020, a terrorist attack was perpetrated against the embassy of the Republic of Cuba to the United States in Washington. An unidentified individual shot at the building of the Cuban embassy in the US using an assault rifle.
