Cuba will apply new measures as of June 5 due to the increase in imported cases

Havana, May 25th.- Francisco Durán García, National Director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), reported new measures that will be applied in Cuba as of June 5 due to the increase in the number of imported cases in recent weeks, mainly Cuban passengers residing in the national territory that arrive through airports linked to tourist areas such as Ciego de Ávila and Varadero.

Director General of America and Asia of the Finnish Foreign Ministry received Charge D'Affaires a.i of Cuba

Helsinki, May 26th.- H.E. Ms. Piritta Asunmaa, Director General for America and Asia of the Finnish Foreign Ministry held a fruitful exchange, at the renovated headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the Charge D'Affaires a.i of Cuba in this capital, Víctor Manuel Rodríguez Etcheverry.

During the meeting, both diplomats reviewed the current state of bilateral ties and their development prospects.

New York, May 21st. - In addition to the serious effects caused by the current crisis, Cuba has had to face the application and tightening of the United States blockade. During the meeting, both diplomats highlighted the positive progress in bilateral ties between the Greater Caribbean Antilles and the Baltic country, even in times of a global pandemic.
