Cuban cinema will feature prominently at the first edition of the London Latino Film Festival

London, 24 September 2026.— Cuban cinema will take centre stage at the first edition of the London Latino Film Festival (LoLaFF), to be held in London from 2 to 6 October 2026, with a programme dedicated to celebrating the diversity, richness and creative power of Latin American cinema.

Cuba’s contribution will be showcased both through key works from its film industry and through the presence of renowned Cuban artists, in an exhibition that will enable the British public to explore different eras, perspectives and forms of expression in the island’s filmmaking.

Screen Cuba 2026: 15–28 March, celebrating Cuban cinema in the UK.

London, 15 March 2026: — From 15 to 28 March 2026, London and other cities across the UK will host the **third edition of the Screen Cuba: Films to Change the World* festival, dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of Cuban cinema amongst the British public.

The opening ceremony took place at The Garden Cinema in London, attended by the Cuban Ambassador, Ismara Vargas Walter, who welcomed guests to this new edition of the festival.
