Statement on the United National General Assembly vote on the illegal US blockade of Cuba
The Communist Party of Ireland calls on the Irish government to support the upcoming vote in the UN General Assembly against the continuation of the illegal US blockade against Cuba. This blockade was imposed by the US to punish the Cuban people for choosing a socialist path and as a warning to all small states that dare to act independently of imperialism.

The statement recalls that last Sunday, September 24, at night, two Molotov cocktails were thrown at the Diplomatic Mission building, without anyone being injured.
