University of Helsinki pays tribute to José Martí on the 170th anniversary of his birth
A night of emotions was experienced this Wednesday from the University of Helsinki, when José Martí was revived from his patriotic greatness, during the tribute offered on the occasion of the 170th Anniversary of his birth, celebrated in the year that pass. The Embassy thanked the University of Helsinki, especially Dr. Florencia Quesada and Dr. Jussi Pakkasvirta, holders of the Chair of Latin American Studies for such heartfelt tribute to the Apostle of Cuba. Also the accompaniment of the ambassadors of Uruguay, Colombia and Mexico, the Consul of Spain and authorities of the Foreign Ministry of Finland.
