It was a pleasure to attend the opening of the Kuwait International Book Fair. While we admire the excellent literature present there, containing different subjects, all interesting, I could not avoid remembering that, in that same beautiful fairground, one of the most spacious in the Gulf, it worked with selflessness and dedication, just 3 years ago, a contingent of nearly 300 Cuban health workers. This contingent of white coats was sent by our government to help the brother people of Kuwait in their fight against Covid.

We had the honor of receiving in our Mission His Excellency Mr. Noureddine Meriem, Ambassador of the sister People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, with whom we exchanged in a friendly atmosphere on various topics of bilateral interest. It is comforting to know the affection and appreciation that both peoples and governments profess for each other.
