Vientiane, June 15, 2023. The Minister of Justice of Cuba Oscar Silvera Martinez, made a successful visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic, fulfilling an official invitation from his counterpart Phayvy Sibualipha with whom he held fruitful bilateral meetings.

From May 6 to 11, the visit to Lao PDR, of the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture (MINAG) of the Republic of Cuba, Maury Hechavarria Bermúdez, took place to strengthen agricultural cooperation- livestock. Vientiane, May 3, 2023. The Lao PDR Minister of Justice, Mr. Payvy Siboualipha, received a courtesy visit from the Cuban Ambassador Enna Viant Valdes, at the headquarters of his ministry.
Both parties ratified the historic and friendly relations maintained over more than four decades and underlined the need to continue identifying other niches for collaboration between
the two countries, as well as they promised to expand the ties between both ministries.
