6 new scholarships offered to Lao PDR by the Republic of Cuba
The Cuban Government has provided new scholarships for six Lao nationals to study at the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) in Havana - an institution of international prestige- and in other universities, in the specialties of Law and Philology in Spanish Language, for the academic year 2018-2019.

Farewell activity of the Ambassador of the Lao PDR designated for Cuba.
At the residence of the Ambassador of Cuba in Vientiane, a farewell dinner was offered to the Comrade Anouphone Kittirath, who leaves shortly to Cuba, country to which she has been designated as Ambassador.
Present at the dinner were, in addition to the Ambassador of Cuba and his wife, the Director General of Europe and America of the Chancellery Laos, the Director of America and other officials of the Foreign Ministry. We were also accompanied by two other Ambassadors who previously occupied the same position in our country.
