International League of People's Struggle passed a resolution against the Blockade and the inclusion of Cuba in the List of Countries Sponsoring Terrorism

Seventh International Assembly (7IA) of the International League of People's Struggle (ILPS)

The participants of the Seventh International Assembly (7IA) of the International League of People's Struggle (ILPS) approved the resolution entitled "Campaign to Lift the US Blockade and Remove Cuba from the US List of States Sponsoring Terrorism".
The 7IA assembly, which was held in Penang, Malaysia, was attended by 535 participants from 44 countries, representing the different member organizations, as well as guests, including the Cuban ambassador, Florentino Batista González.

Demand the lifting of the blockade against Cuba on the iconic Dublin Bridge.

On the eve of the United Nations General Assembly's vote on the draft resolution against the US  blockade against  Cuba, which must be carried out today, the Irish solidarity demanded its lifting in a demonstration held on the iconic Dublin bridge, "Ha'penny Bridge". Personalities from the Solidarity movement, including the Irish MEP from the left group, Clare Daly, reiterated their solidarity with Cuba and called on the world to express their support for the project against the blockade, which has been approved year after year by an overwhelming majority.

President of South Africa calls for an end to the blockade against Cuba at the UN General Assembly

Pretoria, September 20, 2023 - The President of the Republic of South Africa, H.E. Mr. Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, called for an end to the criminal blockade of the United States of America against Cuba in his speech at the General Debate of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Cubans residing in Ireland make an important contribution to send a donation with health supplements for the “Hermanos Amejeiras” hospital.

Dublin, June 3, 2023: Cuban residents in Ireland responded positively to the call made by the "Ernesto Ché Guevara" Association of Cuban Residents and the consular office of the Cuban Embassy to support the efforts made by the Solidarity Movement to send a container with medical supplies to the “Hermanos Amejeiras” Hospital.

Some 15 Cubans, representing the community in Ireland, made different financial contributions with the aim of ensuring the shipment of the aforementioned container, which should arrive in Cuba in the coming weeks.

Cuban Ambassador to Ireland meets with Cubans residing in Cork.

Cork, Ireland, April 20, 2023. Cubans residing in the county of Cork, Ireland, met with the Cuban ambassador in this country, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, who travelled accompanied by the Counsellor for Consular Affairs, Mabel Rodríguez Morera. The meeting is part of the two-day visit program to this important Irish city.

During a pleasant meeting, the Cuban ambassador referred to the importance of strengthening, once the pandemic is over, the embassy's ties with Cubans residing in Ireland, in this case, with those from Cork.
