Lilongwe, October 22, 2025. Malawi's new Foreign Minister, Hon. George Chapatula Chaponda, MP, received Cuban Ambassador Marileydis Dueñas Morales in a cordial meeting where they discussed matters of bilateral relations.

Lusaka, October 25, 2023. Ambassador of Cuba in Zambia, Marileydis Dueñas Morales, held a cordial meeting with the High Commissioner of Malawi in Zambia, Her Excellency. Mrs. Margaret Kamoto, with whom she exchanged on bilateral issues between both countries.
This week, on September 15th and 16th, the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the G-77 and China will be held at the Havana Convention Palace, under the theme "Current Development Challenges: Role of Science, Technology and Innovation", according to the invitation convened by the Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermúdez.
