The Minister of Education and Science of Mongolia and Parliament Member, H.E. Mr. Luvsantseren Enkh-AMGALAM received the Cuban ambassador, Jorge Ferrer. Also present was the director of the Ministry's Department of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Ms. Narantuya Shar.
The Cuban diplomat reported the granting by the island of three scholarships for Mongolian students for Cuban universities in 2023 through bilateral cooperation.

Cuba ratifies its commitment to nuclear disarmament
Havana, June 21, 2022.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, ratified Cuba's firm commitment to nuclear disarmament, speaking at the opening day of the First Meeting of States of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Weapons Nuclear, which takes place from June 21 to 23 in Vienna, Austria.
The Cuban representative highlighted that the entry into force of the Treaty, on January 22, 2021, marked a milestone, as it is the first international legal instrument to establish that nuclear weapons are not only inhuman, immoral and ethically indefensible; but also illegal.
AMBASSADOR OF CUBA IN MONGOLIA MEETS WITH THE SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, HE MR. N.ANKHBAYAR
The Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met with the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Mr. N. Ankhbayar. The General Director of the Department of the Americas, Middle East and Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Anand Amgalan, was also present.
Both sides exchanged views on opportunities to develop traditional friendly relations and bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries.
