Commemoration of the 96th anniversary of Fidel.

Wellington, August 13. On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the birth of the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro, friends of Cuba gathered at the Pukerua Bay Tennis Club to pay tribute to him.

Almost 13 thousand km away from Cuba, more than 50 people shared the performance of the Mokomoko band, the verses of the renowned poet Apirana Taylor, and the words of tribute by Pat Hanley and the Cuban Ambassador remembering Fidel.

In an atmosphere of solidarity, we shared anecdotes and ideas of future actions for a better world.
