Ambassador of Cuba meets with High Commissioner of Niue.
Wellington, August 10. Ambassador Edgardo Valdés received the High Commissioner of Niue, H.E Fisa Igilisi Pihigia, with whom he exchanged on bilateral relations and the situation in both countries.
Both diplomats evaluated the international situation and ratified the will of Cuba and Niue to continue developing their ties.
Cuban ambassador attends Cook Islands celebration.
Wellington, August 3. Ambassador Edgardo Valdés attended the Cook Islands Constitution Day celebration, invited by the High Commissioner of that nation, H.E. Elizabeth Right-Koteka.
On the occasion of said commemoration, the ambassador transmitted a message from Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero to his counterpart from the Cook Islands, reiterating our willingness to strengthen bilateral relations.
On September 2, Cuba and the Cook Islands will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.

Auckland, July 26. At the "Lunch with Ambassadors" organized by the Latin America-New Zealand Business Council (LANZBC) at the exclusive Northern Club in Auckland, Ambassador Edgardo Valdés made a presentation on business and investment opportunities in Cuba.
