Cuban Ambassador signs condolence book at New Zealand Parliament
Today in the afternoon, the Ambassador of Cuba, Mario Alzugaray, attended the New Zealand Parliament, to sign the book of condolences opened on the occasion of the terrorist attacks that occurred in Christchurch.
The Cuban diplomat reiterated the message made public by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla a few hours after the tragic attack was known, echoing Cuba's condemnation of all terrorist acts, methods and practices.
CENESEX work highlighted at ILGA World Conference 2019
During the first day of the ILGA World Conference 2019, leaders and delegates of this organization expressed their respect with the work deployed by the National Center of Sexual Education (CENESEX for its Spanish acronym) in the attention and follow-up to the topics of interest of the LGBT+ community in Cuba.
The ILGA World Conference 2019 was inaugurated this morning in this capital, with the presence of activists from all over the world, including an outstanding presence from Latin America and the Caribbean.
Cubans in New Zealand, stars at the Aotearoa Cuban Festival

Members of Letras Latinas visit the Embassy of Cuba to coordinate joint events for 2019
Members of the Letras Latinas library, led by its director Mirtha Álvarez, visited the Cuban embassy this morning, to have an exchange on joint projects for this year.
Both parties agreed on the excellent opportunity offered by the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and New Zealand, to highlight the main events in bilateral links during this period.

Wellington, March 5, 2019. – In the framework of a GRULAC (Latin America and Caribbean Group by its Spanish acronym) meeting with the minister for Small Businesses, Stuart Nash, the Ambassador of Cuba, Mario Alzugaray, had the opportunity to exchange on the main issues of the bilateral relation.
The Member of Parliament for the Labour Party expressed his interest in the current situation in Cuba and the incidence of small businesses in the tourism sector of the island.
