Nigeria, April 4, 2022. - The Cuban ambassador to this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, was invited to participate in an update meeting on the consultation process between the United Nations system and the Government of Nigeria for the period 2023-2027.
The moment was propitious to learn about topics of interest about the position of this international organization towards Africa and in particular towards Nigeria. It was the first face-to-face meeting since the closure by COVID19 in April 2020

During the last few weeks some of our fellow nationals have been facing difficulties when attempting to travel to countries of our region under the new requirement of obtaining a visa to visit to or travel in transit through some of them. This is a complex situation that is being closely followed by the Cuban government and has multiple causes.

Nigeria, March 23, 2022.- The Cuban ambassador to this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, received an important delegation from the Nigerian Workers' Congress (NLC) at the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission.
The moment was propitious to address issues of common interest, they also discussed regional and international news. The exchange took place in a cordial atmosphere, a reflection of the special friendly relations between this union and Cuba.
