Ambassador of Cuba pays a courtesy call to the Minister of Health of Rwanda

Kigali. On the afternoon of April 27, Dr. Nigamije M. Daniel, Minister of Health of the Republic of Rwanda, received Tania Perez Xiques, Ambassador of Cuba not resident in that African nation.

The Cuban diplomat thanked the possibility of the meeting, reiterated the invitation of the Cuban Minister of Public Health to the 2022 Health Convention to be held in Havana in October of this year, and referred to the commitment letter sent to President Paul Kagame by the eight young Rwandans who are currently studying medicine in Cuba.

The Rwandan Minister updated on the country's health situation and the main challenges in order to continue consolidating the achievements.
