NEW CUBAN AMBASSADOR IN GREECE PRESENTS HIS CREDENTIAL LETTERS

Athens, May 10, 2022.
Today, the Hon. Mr. Aramis Fuente Hernández, presented to Her Excellency Mrs. Katerina Sakellaropoulou, President of the Hellenic Republic, the Credentials that accredit him as Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to this country.
Also present at the ceremony were the Hons. Mr. Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, and Mr. Vasilis Papadopoulos, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Europe and Secretary General of the Presidency, respectively, as well as other officials of the Presidency and the Hellenic Foreign Ministry.
In a cordial and friendly atmosphere, President Sakellaropoulou and Ambassador Fuente Hernández exchanged impressions on the state of bilateral relations and the willingness to continue working to expand and strengthen the already historic ties between the two countries in different areas of common interest.
The ambassador conveyed the warm greetings of President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermúdez and his wishes of prosperity to the Greek people.
On the Cuban side, the counselor of the embassy, José Oriol Marrero Martínez, also attended.
