Oslo, June 28th, 2022. The Ambassador of Cuba, Maité Rivero Torres, was received by the Norwegian Minister of Health and Care Services, Ingvild Kjerkol.
It was a propitious occasion for the Ambassador to personally hand over to the Minister a letter sent by her Cuban counterpart, Dr. José Ángel Portal Miranda, with an invitation to participate in the IV International Convention "Cuba-Health 2022" and the XV Trade Fair "Health for all”, events that will take place in Havana, from October 17 to 21, with the central theme “Universal Health, as part of the 2030 Health Agenda, in a post-Covid-19 scenario.”
It was also an excellent opportunity to exchange on the potential exiting for the development of the relations of cooperation between both countries in the health sector.
The Minister was accompanied by Kai Steffen Østensen, her political adviser, and Hanna Olsen Bodserg, an official from the International Cooperation Section, belonging to the Department of Administration of the Ministry.
Along with the Ambassador, Daffne Ernesto Mirabal García, second secretary, took part in the meeting. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
