Vientiane, May 9, 2022.- The expressions of sorrow of the Lao friends on the occasion of the death of Ricardo Alarcón are reiterated, this time with the signing of the book of condolence opened in this capital at the Cuban diplomatic headquarters, by Comrades Ting Souksakanh, Acting minister for Foreign Affairs, and Bounthanh Bounthavilay Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procurator and Head of Organization of the Lao Supreme People's Prosecutor's Office.
Similarly, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador of Indonesia, H. E. Mr. Pratito Soeharyo joined the posthumous tribute followed by and other accredited representatives in the Lao PDR as the Charge d´Affairs a.i. of the respective Embassies of Vietnam and Malaysia. Ambassador Enna Viant Valdes thanked everyone for the sympathy and recognition of the work of the brilliant diplomat, former Foreign Minister of Foreign Affairs and former President of the Cuban Parliament.
