González and the delegation accompanying him were received by the head of the PPRL Foreign Relations Committee, Thongsavanah Phomvihane, and by the vice president of the Lao Front for National Development, Chanpheng Southivong.

On his last day of stay in Laos, the head of ICAP traveled to the Vangvieng district, one of the main tourist destinations in this Southeast Asian nation, and visited the hospital where Cuban doctors collaborated.
