The Cuban ambassador was received by the Executive Director of UN-HABITAT

Cordial exchange with Maimunah Mohd Sharif, Executive Director of UN-HABITAT. We talked about the priorities defined by the organization, Cuba's role in the implementation of the New Urban Agenda, UN-Habitat's support to our country, among other topics of mutual interest. The Executive Director accepted the invitation to visit Cuba for the first time.

The meeting was attended by the Cuban Ambassador to Kenya, Juan Manuel Rodríguez Vázquez, the UN-Habitat Regional Representative for Latin America and the Caribbean, Helkin Velázquez, the DPR to UN-Habitat, III Secretary Edisleydi Curbelo Garcia, and the Special assistant to the Executive Director, Runze Wang.
