We had a cordial meeting with members of the Presidium of the Federation of Greek Women (OGE). It was very nice to talk with the president of that organization, Christina Skaloumpaka, with the vice president and coordinator of the FDIM for Europe, Merini Stefadidi, and the special secretary and person in charge of the Magazine of the Federation, Popi Xekalaki.
In our conversation, we highlighted the good relations that exist between this important women's organization in Greece and the Federation of Cuban Women, the enormous work that each of them carries out with the women of their respective countries, and the mutual interest in continuing to strengthen their ties. and the cooperation that has been traditional between both women's organizations. The OGE delegation highlighted the value of Cuba's achievements in different sectors and reiterated its solidarity with the Cuban people and especially with their women, in their fight against the economic, commercial and financial blockade maintained by the United States government. for more than 60 years against the island.
