Nigeria, March 13, 2023.- The Cuban ambassador in this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell received at her headquarters the Diplomatic Mission of her country in Abuja, representatives of the National Defense College (CDN) of Nigeria.
Headed by Ambassador Sola Enianolaiye, director of the Department of Geopolitical and National Affairs of the CDN, and accompanied by Brigadier General Oluwafemi Daniel Williams and Rear Admiral Sunday Adoyi Yahaya, both from the Geostrategic course of this institution, the delegation exchanged issues of national and international interest.
At the meeting, the Cuban Ambassador thanked the visit and highlighted the historical ties that unite both nations and the good state of bilateral relations. She updated on the panorama of contemporary Cuba, in particular, the situation that the country is experiencing due to the effects of the US blockade against the Island and the resilience of the Cuban people in the face of this challenge, economic and financial war imposed for more than 60 years.
Counselor Pavel Bauzá Fusté was also present for the Cuban diplomatic mission.
