Oslo, 17 de marzo de 2023. The delegation of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) visited the headquarters of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO), where they held a cordial meeting with Nina Mjøberg, head of the Solidarity Section of the International Department, and Ingunn Tysse Nakkim , counselor in chanrge of Latin America.
Rigoberto Zarza Ross and Elizabeth Ribalta Rubiera, director for Europe and desk officer at the Northern Europe group, explained aspects of interest about ICAP, such as its structure, mission and main lines of work. Likewise, they addressed several aspects of the current Cuban reality.
The Norwegian interlocutors, for their part, offered detailed information on the international projection of LO, particularly in the Latin American region. Both highlighted the cooperation links that have existed for many years with the Central Workers’ Union of Cuba (CTC).(Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
