Nigeria, April 12nd, 2023.- The Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, held a meeting with comrades Izundu Achufusi, head of International Relations of the Nigerian trade union organization "Trade Union Congress" (TUC) and with Djimeji Macauley, a member of this organization, in addition to being the co-coordinator of the Solidarity Platform with Cuba in Abuja.
The exchange took place in a cordial atmosphere, reflecting the relations between Cuba and Nigerian trade unionists. The moment was propitious for the Cuban diplomat to reiterate her invitation to participate in the celebrations for World Workers' Day on May 1st.
During the meeting, the Cuban ambassador also thanked the unconditional support of this organization for the Cuban people, mainly in the fight against the genocide blockade that the United States government maintains against the Caribbean island.
