Accra, January 1, 2023 - The State Mission of the Republic of Cuba in Ghana began the year listening to the words of solidarity and congratulations of comrade Dr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr., General Secretary of the Socialist Movement of Ghana and undisputed icon of the Ghanaian solidarity with Cuba, since the beginning of relations between the two states.
In his words, the well-known journalist encouraged all Cubans and Ghanaians to continue fighting in support of the island. He said that Cuba is a guiding light of the progressive movements of the world and therefore it is the obligation of all good men to support it in complicated moments such as the ones we are living. He also made a brief explanation of the terrible effects of the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba and the unyielding position of the Movement of Solidarity with Cuba in Ghana in support of the largest of the Antilles in its progress and struggle to maintain its sovereignty. He also recognized the coherence of the Revolution in its solidarity with the African peoples.
