Cuba represented in the celebration of International Girls' Day in Laos.

Vientiane, October 2023. The Counselor Leonel González attended the celebration of International Girls' Day in the Lao People's Democratic Republic, representing the Embassy of Cuba in this capital.

The one organized by the Lao government, had the support of the United Nations Agency for the Population Fund and was sponsored by various national and international organizations,  such as the United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, as well as other institutions that have worked together to support inclusive community programs, aimed at making the slogan of “Investing our leadership, our well-being in girls' rights” a reality.
