Meeting of the Cuban ambassador in Sri Lanka with the Governor of the Southern Province

Colombo, March 17, 2024. The Cuban ambassador to Sri Lanka, Andrés Marcelo González Garrido held a meeting with the Governor of the Southern Province, Dr. Willie W. Gamage, at the headquarters of the Secretariat of the Interior in the city of Galle .
During the event, they referred to the historical friendly relations between the two countries and other matters of mutual interest for the development of bilateral relations.
Galle, located in the southwest of Sri Lanka, is one of the most important cities in the country, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. The Galle Fort is the main tourist attraction of the city, along with its beautiful and elegant old town.
