Meeting of the Ambassador of Cuba with members of the leadership of the Revolutionary Communist Youth of Sweden.
Stockholm, March 18, 2024- A cordial meeting took place at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy, in which Ambassador Alba Soto met with Jakob Lejon, International Secretary of the Revolutionary Communist Youth and Ceasar Sedholm.
At the meeting, the young activists conveyed their interest in establishing links with the Union of Young Communists, a counterpart organization in Cuba, and were interested in having information about the functioning and structure of the Cuban youth organization.
Likewise, the meeting was an opportune moment to provide current information about the Island and the main processes linked to the development of the Cuban Revolution; the cruel consequences of the blockade imposed by the United States as well as the inclusion of the Island in the spurious list of supposed state sponsors of terrorism.
The Ambassador thanked the presence of a representation of the young people of the RKU in the activity to celebrate the Anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution held in the month of January and the young people ratified their support for revolutionary Cuba.
