Meeting of the Cuban ambassador with Sri Lankan businessmen

Colombo, March 21, 2024. At the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Sri Lanka, Ambassador Andrés Marcelo González Garrido held a meeting with directors of the company Lankem Ceylon PLC, with its Vice President Ananda Hettiarachchy and the general director Nadeeshan Jayakody , engineer graduated from Cuba.
During the meeting, the ambassador referred to the possibilities of investment and business in Cuba and the characteristics of the Mariel Development Zone and the advantages it offers for foreign investors.
The diplomat also spoke to them about the celebration of the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2024 in November of this year and how convenient it would be for the company Lankem Ceylon PLC to participate in it.
Lankem Ceylon PLC is a chemical, paints and consumer goods manufacturing company in Sri Lanka. The company also engaged in the hospitality industry by owning and operating resorts in Sri Lanka. The company was founded in 1964.
