Ambassador of Cuba holds meeting with Executive Director of the Jamaica Stock Exchange.

Kingston, 8 April, 2024. The Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, Fermín Quiñones Sánchez, held a productive working meeting with executives of the Jamaica Stock Exchange, headed by its executive director, Dr. Marlene Street Forrest.

During the exchange, the Cuban diplomat updated on the main effects of the genocidal blockade policy and the inclusion of our country in the spurious list of State sponsors of terrorism for the Cuban economy and trade relations with other countries.

Both parties identified areas of mutual interest and recognised the potential for commercial exchange and cooperation between Cuba and Jamaica.
