Member of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly of People's Power and Council of State Esteban Lazo Hernandez received on Wednesday Chairman of the Türkiye Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş.
Despite geographical distances and language barriers, ties between Cuba and Türkiye are progressing at a good pace and his visit today is proof of that, as well as of the interest in increasing them to greater levels," said Lazo Hernandez.
At the National Capitol, he valued as a real pleasure to receive the distinguished visitor in the institutional headquarters of the Parliament, in the framework of the commemoration of the 72nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. During the exchange, he expressed the sincere gratitude of our Party, Parliament, Government and Cuban people for their permanent support in the United Nations bodies, demanding the end of the U.S. blockade.
