Ambassador of Cuba receives the Minister of Health of Nigeria

 

 

NIGERIA, June 10, 2017. Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, Carlos Trejo Sosa, received the Minister of Health of Nigeria in his residence, Professor, Issac Adewole with whom he had a fruitful exchange.

The meeting made it possible to transfer the recognition of the Minister to Cuban doctors for their work in different countries of the international community, as well as to recognize the development achieved by Cuba in this area. In addition, it showed interest in restoring the ties of cooperation that existed at the beginning of the two thousand years between Cuba and Nigeria. For his part, the Cuban diplomat provided an update of the primary care system in Cuba and public health in general, especially the epidemiological situation.

They were present at the meeting; By the Nigerian side Femi Falana, Nigeria's top lawyer and by the Cuban side, the second secretary, Leydis Bernal.
