Statement of the All-African People’s Revolutionary Party

Comrades and revolutionary Militants we extend revolutionary greetings and solidarity,

The All-African People’s Revolutionary Party (GC) vociferously condemns, the U.S. government’s, unjust, unethical and immoral, ongoing designation, of the Republic of Cuba, as a sponsor of state terrorism, on its State Sponsor Terrorism List. The A-APRP (GC) is clear that it is the United States of America that was born out of British, Dutch, French and Spanish genocide and terrorism against the Indigenous Peoples and Nations in the Western Hemisphere and on that foundation U.S. imperialism has  committed terrorism and genocide in Africa, Asia, “the Middle East”, particularly in Palestine, and the North and South Pacific islands to exploit them and impose its political and economic interests on the world. El Comandante, Fidel Castro stated it clearly, “Yankee imperialism, plagued by a series of contradictions and problems, is moving towards an increasingly aggressive stance, a stance based on threats and force; more than ever before it has taken on the role of world gendarme.”[1]

We in fact know that U.S. imperialism, institutionalized terrorism against Cuba with the U.S.’s 1898 invasion, as a result of the Monroe Doctrine. U.S. terrorism, against Cuba, intensified with the victory of the Cuban Revolution. The Bay of Pigs was U.S. imperialism’s terrorist response in order to reverse the Cuban people’s revolutionary struggle for national liberation, human dignity, and to destroy their socialist path. The political and economic blockade of Cuba, which followed and the military occupation of Guantanamo Bay was and remains a crime against Humanity, another expression of U.S. terrorism against the Cuban people.

Cuba has advanced and defended the national sovereignty, dignity, socialist development, and the right of a People to determine their course in history. Cuba has shown love for and defended the poor and the downtrodden worldwide, particularly with her technical and medical expertise. For the A-APRP (GC), Cuba is eternally honored and respected for her support and solidarity with the freedom fighters in Algeria against French imperialism, in the Congo against U.S. and Belgium imperialism, and for her heroic contribution to the liberation of Angola and Namibia following the defeat of the apartheid government of South Africa, allied with U.S. imperialism, at the Battle of Cuito Cuanavale. Cuba’s internationalist policy has been consistent and unyielding in providing aid and assistance to the oppressed and exploited of the world.

Our solidarity with Cuba remains steeled. Internationalism is not terrorism, but a noble principle to assist, support, and be in solidarity with the oppressed and exploited worldwide. Cuba must be applauded for this stance.

In our view, terrorism against the Cuban people, within Cuba ended January 1, 1959, and she has made it her revolutionary duty to help cultivate a world of peace, justice, and human dignity devoid of the exploitation of one human being over another. On this factual historical basis and current reality, we stand with revolutionary Cuba denouncing and condemning all who associate Cuba with any sponsoring of or participation in terrorism as messengers and/or instruments of U.S. imperialism.
