Harare, September 6, 2024 - The president of the National Assembly of Zimbabwe, Jacob Mudenda, received this morning the Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Cuba, Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, at the headquarters of the Parliament of the sister southern nation.
The Chargé d'Affaires praised the excellent parliamentary relations between both legislative bodies and in forums such as the Interparliamentary Union.
Likewise, he thanked Zimbabwe for its historic support for Cuba's battle against the unjust blockade imposed on the island for more than 60 years.
Regueiferos explained the consequences for Cuba of being included in the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism and thanked the Zimbabwean legislature for its solidarity in denouncing this situation.
