79TH ANNIVERSARY OF VIETNAM'S NATIONAL DAY

It was with great pleasure that I accompanied the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Greece, Le Hong Truong, and other members of his Embassy, in celebrating the 79th anniversary of their National Day.

On this occasion, the event, which was also a good opportunity to bid farewell to the Vietnamese diplomat, who successfully concluded his Mission in Greece, took place at the New Star Cinema theatre and included the presentation of a show by a group of talented Vietnamese artists who had travelled especially to Athens to participate in this commemoration.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Athens, officials and personalities from different sectors of Greek society.
