London, 29 October. The fortieth edition of the Havana International Trade Fair FIHAV 2024 will include British companies among its participants. As a result of the broad promotion and dissemination of the event conducted by the Cuban Embassy in the UK, the trade fair will be attended by British businesspeople seeking to explore business opportunities and take part in the Seventh Investment Forum.
As they said in a meeting with the Embassy, FIHAV will afford them the opportunity to network with potential partners, both local and international, due to the nature and wide appeal of the event, which this year brings together over 200 Cuban entities, including non-State economic actors focusing on promoting productive linkages, import substitution and exports. Furthermore, attending the Investment Forum will enable British participants to obtain first-hand knowledge about new opportunities offered by the country in the Business Opportunities portfolio.
The Havana International Trade Fair is the most important trade event held in Cuba and the largest in the Caribbean. Its multi-sectoral approach makes it the best option to make contacts in the Cuban market. Forty editions of the event confirm that Cuba is open to the world to promote new investment, substitute imports and access other markets.
