Director General of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry received the Cuban ambassador

Colombo, November 22. The Cuban ambassador to Sri Lanka, Andrés Marcelo González Garrido, was received at the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry by C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne, Director General of Latin America and the Caribbean.

During the pleasant meeting, they reviewed bilateral aspects and outlined lines of work for the continuation and strengthening of diplomatic relations, which this year 2024 are celebrating 65 years of establishment.

Present at the meeting were Nilanthini Arulpiragasam, director of the Latin American and Caribbean division and Maribel Duarte González, first secretary of the Cuban embassy.
