Riyadh, February 13th - The new designated Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga, was summoned to the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to present Copies of his Letters of Credentials to the Deputy Minister for Protocol Affairs, Abdulmajeed Al-Smari. The Third Secretary of the Embassy, Vicente Ibrahin Abad Abad, also attended the meeting.
Initially, Mr. Al-Smari welcomed the Cuban diplomat and congratulated him on his appointment as the new Chief of Mission of the Cuba in the Kingdom.
The Cuban Ambassador expressed his full willingness to work to continue promoting bilateral relations between Cuba and the Kingdom in different spheres. The Deputy Minister stated that for this purpose he will be able to count on all the necessary support from the Saudi Foreign Ministry. (EmbaCuba Arabia Saudita)
