Cuban and Lao Foreign Minister Officials Hold Talks

Vientiane, February 21, 2025. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez held fruitful official talks with the Foreign Minister of Laos, comrade Thongsavanh Phomvihane, where the spirit of friendship and solidarity that have governed the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations held in November last year prevailed.

The counterparts pondered the possibilities of advancing the diversification of bilateral cooperation on the basis of mutual trust and previous experiences in various areas.

The Cuban side thanked the Lao government for its consistent position of support in the elimination of the blockade against Cuba and the need to eliminate this country from the alleged list of co-sponsoring states of terrorism.
