The 4th Patria International Colloquium concluded yesterday in Havana, attended by more than 400 delegates from some 50 countries. Participants pledged to establish a permanent Southern Network to continue confronting cognitive warfare, disinformation campaigns, media manipulation, and psychological warfare promoted by imperialist actors.
At the closing ceremony, attended by Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Party Central Committee and President of the Republic, and Roberto Morales Ojeda, Political Bureau member and Organization Secretary, the Telesur Citizen distinction was awarded for the first time to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, as well as to the Head of State and President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, for symbolizing the living trench of Latin America.
