Kuala Lumpur, March 23, 2025. The local cultural project "International Rueda de Casino," Cuban residents in Malaysia, and the Ambassador and Consul of the Caribbean island in this Asian country, staged a Flash Mob this Sunday afternoon demonstrating that Casino is also danced in Malaysia.
The values and richness of Cuban culture have crossed borders, and its contagious rhythms, such as Casino, are enjoyed and taught by dance academies in Kuala Lumpur.
The Cuban residents participating were surprised by the level of performance achieved by some of the dancers of the "International Rueda de Casino," who performed their first choreography to the rhythm of Van Van.
In her closing remarks, the Cuban ambassador, Yadira Ledesma Hernández, thanked participants for their friendship with Cuba and emphasized that through their work in promoting Casino dance, they are also becoming promoters of Cuban culture in Asia.
