Ghanaian graduates in Cuba deliver Fidel’s picture to the Cuban Embassy

During an evening activity at the "T-Havana Park" Recreation Center, a representation of the Ghanaian graduates in Cuba, paid tribute to the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro.

Mr. Philip Arthur, President of the Program Organizing Committee for the 30th Anniversary, and also member of the management of the Association of the Ghanaian Trained in Cuba (ESBECAN), presented to the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy, Julio César Sánchez Martínez, a cadre of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, and whom the ESBECAN consider as their second father.

In his presentation, Mr. Arthur thanked the Commander-in-Chief and the former President Jerry Rawlings for their broad vision of the training of Ghanaian youth. For his part, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. thanked the members of ESBECAN for the gift received and ratified the indestructible friendship between Cuba and Ghana.

That night in T-Havana was an expression of the joy and solidarity between the representatives of Ghanaian graduates in Cuba, the collective of the Cuban Embassy, the members of the Cuban Medical Brigade working in Ghana, and a representation of the Cubans living in Ghana.

The members of ESBECAN announced that they are preparing a delegation that will visit in October the places where they spent years of their student life.
