Kingston, 25 July 2025. Representatives of several generations of Cubans residing in Jamaica actively participated in the organisation and celebration of the 72nd anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks.
Professor Osvaldo Cárdenas, on behalf of the Association of Cuban Residents, denounced the impact of the genocidal policy of the blockade and our country's continued inclusion on the spurious and unilateral list of state sponsors of terrorism. He reaffirmed his confidence that despite the difficulties, our country will move forward, maintain the achievements of the revolution and continue its internationalist work around the world.
The occasion was a good opportunity for children and teenagers, descendants of Cuban residents, to learn about one of the events that marked the history of Cuba and Latin America.
