Cuba and Türkiye hold the 7th Round of Inter-Chancellery Political Consultations

Cuba and Türkiye held the VII Round of Inter-Chancellery Political Consultations, as part of their shared commitment to continue strengthening bilateral ties between both nations.

The meeting was chaired by Carlos Miguel Pereira Hernández, Director General of Bilateral Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, and by H.E. Ms. Yaprak Balkan, Director General for the Americas and the Caribbean at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.

During the meeting, held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, both delegations reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and explored new opportunities for cooperation in areas of common interest, including trade, investment, education, culture, and multilateral collaboration in international forums.

The parties agreed to highlight the positive nature of relations between Cuba and Türkiye, based on mutual respect, solidarity, and the willingness to expand and diversify existing ties.

This new round of political consultations demonstrates the renewed momentum that both nations are giving to their diplomatic ties and their shared interest in continuing to move toward a more dynamic and diverse bilateral agenda.
