The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga presented the copy of his credentials as the new non-resident Head of Mission to the Sultanate of Oman to the Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Al-IssaHarthy, who was accompanied by Najib bin Yahya Al Balushi, Head of the Protocol Department; Dr. Hanan bint Ibrahim Al Shehhi, Director of the Department of the Americas and several ministry officials.
During the ceremony, the diplomat said he was honored to be accredited as the new Ambassador of Cuba and conveyed to the minister the greetings of the Island's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla.
Likewise, he expressed his full willingness to carry out all the necessary efforts to further develop relations of friendship and cooperation between the respective countries in the different spheres.
During the meeting, Sheikh Khalifa wished the ambassador success in his duties and further progress and growth in the bilateral relations between the two countries. (EmbaCuba Arabia Saudita)
