The Cuban ambassador to Greece, Aramis Fuente Hernández, along with Andreas Haikalis, president of the Greek-Cuban Friendship Association of Kalamata, "Venceremos," and other members of the Association, inaugurated the new facilities, which will serve as headquarters and a meeting space for its activists and all those in that region who promote friendship and solidarity with the Cuban people.
During the inauguration of the new facilities, the ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude to the people of Kalamata for their feelings of love, solidarity, and support for Cuba. The president of the Association reported on the new charitable activity they are carrying out to collect aid that will be sent to Cuba in the coming months. This gesture follows a similar initiative carried out a few years ago, when a container with various materials and food was sent to Cuba with a significant donation for a hospital in that country.
